Marketing Coordinator Location: On-site Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (with additional hours as needed) We are looking for a

highly motivated, detail-driven Marketing Coordinator

who is eager to take ownership, move quickly, and make an immediate impact. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment and is hungry to grow their skills while helping drive real business results.

You will work closely with a hands‑on marketing team that includes store managers from Sargent’s North and Sargent’s on 2nd, the General Manager, Retail GM, and Sales Manager. While you will receive direction and priorities from the team, you are expected to bring ideas, take initiative, and execute with urgency. You may also coordinate the work of another marketing team member.

The annual marketing plan is built collaboratively and led by the GM—you will be responsible for executing it consistently and creatively throughout the year. This is a

fully on‑site role

requiring strong communication, accountability, and follow‑through.

How You Will Make an Impact

Maintain and improve website and online shopping platforms.

Actively grow and engage our social media audience with timely, relevant content.

Generate qualified leads for our Landscape department through targeted campaigns.

Manage weekly eNews, including ongoing management of email contact lists.

Design and produce promotional signage that drives traffic and sales.

Help create, promote, and execute engaging events that connect customers to our brand.

Take full ownership of events once launched, working diligently to ensure success.

Maintain and actively manage the marketing calendar to keep initiatives on track.

Support the production and ordering of in‑store signage and promotional materials.

Stage and photograph products to elevate visual storytelling.

Create compelling content across all marketing channels, including design, photography/video, and copywriting.

Protect and strengthen brand consistency by following established brand guidelines.

Organize and manage marketing assets such as product photography, video content, labels, and customer data.

What You Bring

Degree and 2+ years of experience in Marketing, Business Communications, or a related field

A proactive mindset with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environment.

Strong organizational and time‑management skills with a bias toward action.

A positive attitude with high standards for accuracy and follow‑through.

Strong computer, editing, and graphic design skills.

Experience using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar design tools.

Experience with Google Ads, Google Analytics, Meta, and WordPress.

Hands‑on photography experience.

Solid understanding of both web and print design.

Excellent writing skills with strong attention to grammar, spelling, and clarity.

Hours, Pay and Benefits

Pay range $21.01-$26.27

Employee discount, including up to 30% off plant materials.

Retirement plan through a 401(k), with company match up to 4%.
