We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking an
Inventory Specialist for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in
Los Angeles, CA
Details for the position are as follows:
Pay rate up to $27hr based on experience
This is an Onsite role. 3rd shift M-F 9PM-530AM
2+month contract - (potential to extend or convert based on performance & budget).
Coordinate with Logistics Specialists to optimize dock schedules; provide backup support as needed.
Conduct inventory audits and cycle counts; resolve discrepancies in collaboration with the Inventory Control team.
Partner with Quality to contain non-conforming materials and support release processes.
Communicate urgent shipments and deliveries between shifts and departments.
Generate reports using SAP, MES, Excel, Ryder, and Dock Scheduler.
Lead Safety and Quality Gembas, 5S audits, and document improvement opportunities.
Maintain standard work documents and manage the team’s training matrix.
Operate PIT equipment and support team activities as necessary.
Coach and train team members to support skill development and performance.
Escalate safety, quality, and delivery issues to leadership.
Support process improvement initiatives, including RCCA and 5S events.
Communicate key updates and issues across shifts and maintain compliance with company and regulatory standards.
SAP or WMS experience required.
Prior experience in inventory control and/or shipping required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask, manage stress, and work independently.
Understanding of warehouse and shipping principles.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
