SCADA Manager – Jacobs Join the Jacobs team as a SCADA Manager to support our water and wastewater facilities across North America. You will work closely with the Operational Technology Manager and the Regional Services Group, driving practical, resilient, and secure technology solutions that enable the daily treatment of more than 1.7 billion gallons of water and protect water resources throughout the region.

Base pay range $133,900.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Travel to facilities throughout the region (approximately 1‑2 weeks per month)

Configure, commission, and maintain Control Panels, PLCs, and SCADA Systems

Support installation of Control Panels, PLCs, SCADA Servers, and Workstations

Troubleshoot process control issues and SCADA communications issues

Remotely monitor assets, identify maintenance needs, and apply minor updates and fixes

Work with facility managers to identify technology needs and document existing infrastructure

Develop plans to improve facility control systems in alignment with facility needs

Collaborate with other disciplines on equipment installation, startup & commissioning

Configure equipment to conform to process control and resiliency standards

Manage an OT/SCADA team and SCADA user accounts and access controls

Here’s what you’ll need

Principle‑driven person with integrity, curiosity, and empathy

At least 20 years of experience in Control System Design, PLC Programming, and SCADA Development

Experience as a people leader

Solid technical foundation in electrical and/or control system design

Estimated 25‑50% travel throughout the U.S. and West Region

Valid driver’s license with no major infractions and a valid REAL ID or other TSA‑approved identification

Ideally, You’ll Also Have

Visionary outlook and strategic planning skills

Relevant SCADA & PLC OEM certifications

Background in networking or information systems management

Skills in automotive repair, mechanical processes, manufacturing knowledge, etc.
