Patient Experience Representative Service Excellence/Part-time
Position Summary The Patient Experience Representative is responsible for ensuring that every person approaching the medical center is greeted, provided with direction to the desired location, including transporting (walking or wheelchair) individuals to the area, and visitors are offered assistance as appropriate so that they feel accepted and welcome. The representative will screen patients/visitors/associates, enforce visitor/support person restrictions, perform service recovery, and assist during special events.
Requirements Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
BLS issued by American Heart Association is preferred.
Skills
Hospitable and sensitive to needs and feelings of others.
Passion for making people feel welcome.
Comfortable talking to and greeting patients, associates, and visitors.
Ability to enforce challenging restrictions in time of infectious disease outbreaks.
Experience One year experience working in customer service preferred.
Nature of Supervision
Responsible to: Patient Experience Manager.
Environment
Bloodborne pathogen: A – Requires knowledge and practice of safety standards.
Bloodborne pathogen: B – If involved in clinical contact.
Physical Requirements Required to speak, listen, and communicate with a wide variety of persons. Requires a very high level of customer service skills. Requires moderate physical effort (lift or carry up to 50 pounds).
