Overview As Content and Event Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in shaping how SponsorCX shows up in the market. You will be responsible for creating high-quality content and supporting event programs that help prospects understand our category, see themselves in our customer stories, and build trust in our brand.
This role sits at the intersection of storytelling, content execution, and event support. You will work closely with marketing leadership, customer success, and sales to turn real customer outcomes into compelling content that fuels awareness, engagement, and growth.
This is a hands‑on role for someone who loves creating, organizing, and bringing stories to life across written, visual, and live formats.
How You Can Make a Difference You will help define how our story is told across industries like sports, nonprofits, cities, venues, and live events. Your work will directly support demand generation, customer advocacy, and brand credibility by ensuring our content feels relevant, clear, and grounded in real‑world use cases.
You will influence how prospects first encounter SponsorCX, how customers see themselves reflected in our marketing, and how our presence shows up at industry events.
What You Will Be Doing Content Creation and Storytelling
Create and manage a steady pipeline of content including customer stories, case studies, event recaps, and sales enablement materials
Translate customer conversations and outcomes into clear, compelling narratives
Support vertical‑specific content that speaks to different industries and use cases
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure messaging is accurate, consistent, and customer‑first
Customer and Market Content
Partner with customer success to turn real customer wins into stories, quotes, and proof points
Help shape customer‑facing content such as testimonials, spotlights, and success stories
Support thought leadership content that educates the market and builds category clarity
Event Marketing Support
Support planning and execution of conferences, trade shows, and select customer events
Create event‑related content including pre‑event promotion, on‑site materials, and post‑event follow‑up content
Assist with coordination, logistics, and content needs for live and virtual events as needed
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Work closely with marketing, customer success, and sales to align content with business goals
Ensure content is organized, reusable, and easy for teams to activate across channels
Contribute to content planning and prioritization based on company initiatives
What You Will Need to Be Successful
Experience in content marketing, brand marketing, or communications
Strong writing and storytelling skills with the ability to turn complex ideas into clear, engaging content
Comfort working across multiple content formats including written, visual, and event‑related materials
Experience supporting or participating in event marketing or industry events
Ability to collaborate cross‑functionally and manage multiple projects at once
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
