Summary The Marketing Program Manager executes on direct marketing strategies to meet business objectives and manages targeted marketing campaigns supporting consumer, business and commercial banking. The position supports marketing initiatives including customer acquisition and campaigns to deepen relationships with existing customers.
Duties and Responsibilities
Manage the implementation and execution of key marketing programs, ensuring financial, marketing, regulatory, legal, operational, product, project and strategic objectives are met.
Partner with segment, product and analytics teams to ideate marketing campaigns that achieve business objectives.
Define and recommend opportunities for offer, creative and package formats.
Develop timelines for all campaign components – from pre‑planning and business case development to target audience modeling, creative development, review and approval processes, quality control, print/production and mailing.
Manage the campaign budget, working with advertising agencies and production vendors to provide cost‑efficient recommendations while meeting business objectives.
Lead creation and execution of direct marketing campaigns.
Partner with agencies and internal teams (segment managers, product managers, creative/brand, legal and compliance) to ensure creative briefs and deliverables align with strategy and are on time and on budget.
Oversee the review and approval process for all campaign components with creative/brand and legal & compliance.
Lead quality control processes, ensuring that target audience list audits, test design, and variable elements for printed materials are accurate.
Develop production matrix to ensure direct marketing strategy and tests align with business case and test design.
Direct production vendors and internal teams to ensure flawless execution of marketing campaigns.
Manage vendor relationships to meet brand and quality guidelines and deliver according to agreed timeline and budget.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree.
Minimum of 5 years of direct marketing and project management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in financial services and/or consumer goods marketing.
Experience managing agency and vendor relationships.
Knowledge of database and direct marketing principles, including customer segmentation, testing and application of results to improve future campaigns.
Detail‑oriented with analytical and financial orientation.
Strong relationship‑building skills with ability to collaborate across stakeholder groups.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Experience managing complex, multi‑channel marketing campaigns (mail, email, online) and managing multiple projects concurrently.
Exempt Status Yes – not eligible for overtime pay.
Workplace Type Office.
