Job Description Top Client in need of a Certified Surgical Technologist

Responsibilities

Setting up and maintaining the surgical suite with instruments, supplies, and advanced equipment to ensure safe, seamless procedures

Assisting with patient transport, positioning, prepping, and draping while prioritizing comfort, privacy, and safety

Scrubbing in and partnering with the surgical team by providing instruments, handling specimens, and anticipating the team’s needs

Monitoring patients and surgical equipment throughout procedures, responding promptly and effectively to any concerns

Upholding sterile technique, completing room turnover efficiently, and supporting a high-performing, collaborative team environment

Qualifications

Must have 1+ years of OR Tech experience

Tech II - In addition to meeting the requirements of an OR Tech I position, must also be competent to perform as first scrub in three of the four following specialty areas: Robotic, Total Joints, Neuro/Spine, and Vascular Surgery

Graduate of an accredited school of Certified Operating Room Technicians (CORT)

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or Tech in Surgery (TS-C) from National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) required upon hire

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required upon hire
