Job Description
The Radiologic Technologist I is responsible for obtaining diagnostic radiographic examinations at a technical level that does not require constant supervision. The technologist performs essential job functions, ensuring the highest quality of care for patients. Responsibilities
Produces diagnostic radiographic examinations by positioning patients and selecting appropriate technical factors based on individual patient needs. Restricts radiation exposure to unaffected parts of the patient using cone and collimating devices. Performs portable x-ray examinations in various settings, including patient rooms, operating rooms, and emergency rooms. Identifies patient films accurately and marks them for clarity. Develops exposed x-ray film by processing methods. Maintains an orderly x-ray room and completes associated administrative duties. Assists patients in mobility to and from x-ray tables as needed. Communicates effectively with patients and their caregivers at an appropriate level. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology. Must possess a New Jersey State License. AHA-approved BLS Certification. ARRT certification in Radiography (R.T.(R)). Why ARMStaffing?
