Will educate patients / families about procedures being performed. Demonstrates the primary goal of efficiently providing surgical services that exceed customer expectations and improve clinical and financial operations.* Experience with c-arm & portable x-ray units a plus* Experience with pain management a plus* Usually 1 -10 hour on call shift a week with potential for more hours to cover vacations, etc.Will work only at ESC not required to floatPay based on experience starting at $26.35 per hour**Responsibilities**Performs all radiographic procedures as written in Policy and Procedure Manual, Performs basic patient care needs when acting in the role of the perioperative assistant including patient identification, assisting with patient needs and taking vital signs, Repots all needed information to the RN caring for the patients, Reviews all radiation badge reports and submits to the Administrator, Tests and monitors all equipment and aprons for proper working condition**Requirements**ARRT - Radiography (R) - (within 1 year) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), BLS or CPR certification within 90 days of hire. - Sarah Bush Lincoln**Compensation**Estimated Compensation Range$26.35 - $40.84Pay based on experienceWhen you come to work for Sarah Bush Lincoln or Fayette County Hospital Long Term Care, you have our commitment to help make this the best work experience of your life.
