Machine Operator

Contract to Permanent.
Shifts:
1st shift, 6am - 2:30pm, $19/hr; 2nd shift, 2pm - 10:30pm, $20.50/hr
Job Description: Primary Responsibilities:
Learn to set up and operate a variety of equipment as you build your metalworking skills.
Fabricate parts operating the Stripit brake press, Peddinghaus shearing machine, Pacific punch press, horizontal saws, or robotic welders.
Check parts produced according to work ticket to ensure all parts are within tolerance of customer specifications.
Machine set‑up knowledge is a plus.
Requirements:
Maintaining a safe work environment
Ability to read and use a tape measure
Understanding and reading blueprints
Repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand, be mobile, and physically able to handle and transport materials during the 8‑hour shift
Other duties as assigned
High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Manufacturing experience 2 years (Preferred)
