Role Description This full‑time, on‑site Carpenter position is located in Rocky Point, NC. The Carpenter will construct, install, repair, and maintain structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard using carpentry tools and equipment. Additional tasks include interpreting blueprints, measuring and cutting materials, ensuring that construction projects meet safety and quality standards. The role may involve collaborating with team members to complete larger construction or repair projects efficiently.
Qualifications
Proficiency in carpentry tasks, including measuring, cutting, shaping, and constructing wooden structures
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions
Experience operating a range of carpentry tools and equipment safely and effectively
Knowledge of construction safety protocols and quality assurance practices
Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and adapt to different project requirements
Physical stamina and ability to perform hands‑on construction work
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or relevant certifications are a plus
Prior experience in the construction industry is preferred but not required
Good teamwork and communication skills
