Job Summary
Qualified Candidates:
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Strong clinical and procedural skills in trauma care
Must have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely with patients, nursing, physicians and administration
Board certification and current Florida license or eligibility to obtain

About Blake Medical Center
Blake Medical Center is a 383‑bed, Joint Commission accredited tertiary hospital providing award‑winning care.
It houses the only Level II Trauma Center in Manatee County and one of only six burn centers in the State.
Additional services include ER 24/7®, Joint Replacement and Spine Institute, Heart & Vascular Center, Breast Care Center, Limb Saving Institute, Lung Care Center, Advanced Primary Stroke Center, neuroscience, cancer care, inpatient & outpatient rehabilitation, physical therapy, complex hand repair, and 24/7 hyperbaric medicine.
Surgical services span metabolic and bariatric, microvascular, open heart, neurological, colorectal, urologic, and general surgery.
The Graduate Medical Education program offers a Transitional Year and an Internal Medicine Residency, affiliated with USF Morsani College of Medicine.
Location: Bradenton
Bradenton lies on the southern tip of Tampa Bay, adjacent to beaches such as Bradenton Beach and Anna Maria Island.
