Position Overview
Paraeducator Elementary – Anoka‑Hennepin School District. Part‑time, 184 days, 3 hrs/day.
Responsibilities
Supervise areas where students gather such as hallways, classrooms, playgrounds, bus areas, and lunchroom.
Support teachers/administration with copy room duties.
Perform other duties as assigned (not including student instructional support).
Lunchroom supervision and playground supervision as outlined.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must be physically working in the building.
Good communication, interpersonal, and record‑keeping skills.
Ability/desire to work with technology and computers.
Cooperative with students and staff; supervise students; take direction.
Maintain regular attendance, including completing an assigned day.
Lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
Perform position responsibilities including physical factors, work devices, materials handling, data functions, and people functions.
Pay $19.25/hour to $24.05/hour DOQ with K‑12 experience*
$20.40/hour to $25.20/hour with AA/AAS degree or 60 semester/90 quarter credits from a regionally accredited institution, DOQ with K‑12 experience*
$21.25/hour to $26.05/hour with BA degree from a regionally accredited institution, DOQ with K‑12 experience
