Manager, Volunteer Services Capital Caring Health is looking for an experienced Manager of Volunteer Services to lead our volunteer program. This role is critical to providing outstanding patient care and a high level of customer service in our communities.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement short‑ and long‑range goals for the volunteer program in collaboration with the Director of Volunteer Services.

Provide critical, creative thinking and ideas around issues and changes necessary to stay current with events that affect the hospice/volunteer program.

Assess and monitor program performance; develop appropriate tracking, trending, and reporting.

Document volunteer support processes for all departments and functions.

Oversee the monitoring system used by volunteer coordinators, ensuring accurate record‑keeping and compliance.

Ensure participation and support of departmental staff as part of interdisciplinary teams and the QAPI program.

Ensure volunteer training, education, and regulatory compliance for all affiliates.

Develop recruitment, orientation, retention, and satisfaction programs; evaluate effectiveness.

Develop screening mechanisms to ensure suitability of volunteers.

Assist in departmental budget creation and fiscal responsibility.

Communicate with staff, volunteers, hospice house management, regional teams, senior leadership, and other departments.

Maintain timely compliance of required training and assessments.

Participate in community presentations and marketing campaigns.

Perform other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education preferred.

Minimum two years of direct volunteer experience.

Minimum two years of supervisory experience.

Demonstrated administrative skills.

Strong written and oral communication and organizational management skills.

Valid Florida Driver’s License; required auto liability insurance.

Compensation $58,986.25 – $88,479.37 annually.
