COACHING VACANCY

Girls' Assistant Golf Coach
Spring 2025‑2026
JOB SUMMARY:
Provide knowledge, motivation, and leadership in an activity where students can excel, supporting physical well‑being and social development.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF ALL COACHES
Instruct athletes on techniques, rules, and safety practices.
Develop and schedule comprehensive practice program (3:00‑6:00 p.m.).
Supervise athletes from practice start to pick‑up, ensuring all participants are accounted for.
Supervise athletes during practices, games, camps, and travel events.
Promote the school’s interscholastic program aligned with overall school goals.
Model highest ethical conduct and support contest officials.
Advocate sportsmanship and pride among participants and spectators.
Encourage healthy lifestyles for student‑athletes.
Ensure athletes complete required medical and insurance documentation.
Communicate team rules and department guidelines to parents.
Hold necessary conferences with parents/guardians.
Understand the student‑athlete handbook.
Adhere to state, conference, and district regulations.
Follow all safety laws and district policies.
Apply injury, care, and prevention procedures per district policies.
Report accidents to the principal or designee.
Respect athlete health plans.
Provide equal opportunities per nondis iraction policy.
Complete WIAA general rules clinic and sport‑specific rule clinic annually.
Maintain valid first aid and CPR certification.
Participate in district and WIAA trainings.
Perform other duties assigned by District Administrators or Athletic Director.
ADDITIONAL ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS IF HEAD COACH
Coordinate with Athletics Director on scheduling.
Assist in selecting and evaluating assistant coaches.
Assign duties to assistant coaches as needed.
Determine athlete participation with assistants at all levels.
Maintain standards of pupil behavior and proper supervision.
Ensure eligibility lists comply with district policies.
Communicate with Athletics Directorალაქო Building Administration about athlete matters.
QUALIFICATIONS
Current First Aid/CPR certification (or to obtain by season start).
Type II Driver’s License preferred.
Understand sport’s safety practices, techniques, rules, and skill development progression.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
Positive attitude toward students and ability to motivate them toward a successful program.
Consistently meet schedule responsibilities for practice, preparation, competition, and related activities.
Plan practices and events, organize necessary materials and personnel.
Work with students, colleagues, parents, and officials in a positive, professional, and equitable manner.
DESIRED CRITERIA
Previous coaching experience at the secondary level.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT AND SALARY Salary Range: $3,231 to $5,620 per contract. Salary placement is based on статья experience and district guidelines.
