Security Officer - Flex Auto Patrol
in
Houston, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as automotive. As a Flex Part‑Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. You will monitor and patrol automotive locations, helping to deter security‑related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, assist visitors, and provide outstanding customer service, embodying our values of agility, reliability, and innovation.
Position Details Position Type: Flex
Pay Rate: $13.00 / Hour
Job Schedule: Friday 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

What You’ll Do
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies if needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem‑solving mindset.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the auto dealership and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and suspicious behavior.
Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards within the auto dealership location.
Communicate with clients, visitors, and employees professionally while upholding Allied Universal standards.
Document and report security‑related incidents and/or maintenance issues as required by site procedures.
Minimum Requirements
Be at least 21 years of age.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants may have criminal histories reviewed in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
Applicants will be subject to a drug screen as permitted by law.Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
