Overview Carle Health is seeking a

Neurosurgery Advanced Practice Provider

to join The Carle Neuroscience Institute (CNI) in Urbana, Illinois.

Opportunity Details

Primarily an inpatient position with some clinic responsibilities

Join a growing team of Neurosurgeons, Neuro‑interventional radiologists, daytime Neurosurgery Advanced Practice Providers and nocturnist Neurosurgery Advanced Practice Providers

The department is adopting an APP‑Surgeon Practice Model that will allow for practice consistency, education, and feedback

Schedule is 4, 10‑hour shifts.

Weekend rotation; Weekend coverage 1:5

Coordinate ongoing patient care including initial consultations, rounding with the surgeons, follow‑ups and provide patient/family education

Experience with neurological conditions preferred

Education Requirements

Master’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant

Candidates with prior Neurosurgery experience preferred

Licensure/Certification Requirements

Current Illinois Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse licensure/Physician Assistant licensure

Compensation and Benefits The compensation range for this position is $59.38 - $77.20/hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
