Retail Associate – Inventory
Starting Wage: $18.00 – $20.00

What You’ll Do
This team within WIS works primarily with a single customer in the home improvement segment.
Safety First – Drivers are responsible for safely transporting team members to and from inventory events in a timely manner. This role is responsible for adhering to traffic laws and WIS driver safety requirements, as well as conducting and completing vehicle inspections, maintenance, and daily cleaning.
Count and record inventory with precision – Accuracy matters here.
Follow a clear, consistent workflow – Your playbook for success.
Move between inventory locations, often walking or standing for extended periods — think conditioning, but with purpose.
Meet daily performance goals – And celebrate when you beat them. Productivity-based wage increases are in your future!
Team Requirements
Must be at least 21 years of age.
We are also looking for associates with experience in Retail, Stock, Customer Service, Cashiers, Sales Representatives, Driver and/or Warehouse work. Make your experience count!
No inventory experience? No problem. If you can bring the discipline, we will train the rest.
Ability to stand, walk, and stay active during shifts.
Comfort learning handheld scanners or count tools.
Strong focus and attention to detail.
Reliable attendance and commitment to consistency.
Positive, team-oriented attitude.

Inventory Associate Driver Requirements
Must possess a valid driver’s license within the state of residence for a minimum of 36 consecutive months.
A minimum of three (3) years proven driving experience.
Must be willing to submit to a pre‑employment investigative consumer report, pre‑employment screening and MVR check in accordance with company standards.
Familiarity with GPS devices and how to navigate to assigned locations.
Availability to work flexible schedules with varying hours in support of the District Manager and customer commitments, this includes very early mornings and/or late nights.
Material Job Duties
Pick up, drop off, and regularly drive rental vehicles and Company owned vehicles.
Picks up employees from the designated meet sites on time.
Picks up and transports additional or nearby employees in cases of short staffing.
Safely and timely transports employees to and from inventory events, mapping out driving routes to ensure the most efficient or expedient trip.
Fulfills miscellaneous tasks and errands to assist in meeting customer and company demands and needs; this may include picking up equipment needed for an event, managing shipping or pickups of equipment, etc.
Proactively adjusts the driving plan to the most efficient and safe route, as needed.
Completes required vehicle inspections and cleanings in accordance with Safety and Fleet policies.
Works closely with District Managers, Area Managers, and Inventory Supervisors to promptly elevate and communicate any safety concerns, vehicle issues, employee issues, policy violations, or customer concerns.
Builds rapport and engages professionally with all team members and coworkers.
Maintains vehicle cleanliness at all times.
Schedules required vehicle maintenance and service appointments, ensuring they are completed timely.
Assists with safety checks at event start up, including ladder safety inspections.
May be asked to occasionally count at inventory events to assist in meeting customer demands and/or goals.
Working Conditions This position requires the ability to stand for prolonged periods of time with occasional walking; to use both hands and wrists for repetitive motions; to frequently be in low-level positions, such as squatting, kneeling, or crouching; to frequently use a ladder; to lift and carry items up to 25 lbs.; and to frequently travel via car and occasionally via plane, including overnight stays.
