Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and outgoing

Fitness Membership Sales Specialist , internally known as a "Recruiter," to join our team. In this hybrid sales role, you won't be recruiting employees; you will be the driving force behind growing our D1 community by identifying, engaging, and enrolling new members. You'll connect with potential clients, communicate the value of our Division 1 athletic-based programs, and guide them through their fitness journey from initial contact to enrollment.

Responsibilities

Prospecting & Outreach: Actively identify and engage prospective members through daily outbound calls, texts, emails, social media, in‑person community events, school partnerships, and personal networking.

Sales Process Management: Nurture leads through the entire sales funnel, managing all client notes and contacts within our CRM system.

Consultative Selling: Conduct facility tours and consultations, prescribing and selling the appropriate D1 service based on the client’s specific needs and goals.

Community Engagement: Represent D1 Training at local events to promote memberships and build lasting relationships.

Collaboration: Work closely with coaching and operations teams to ensure a seamless client onboarding experience.

A Proven Performer: You have 1+ years of experience in sales and customer service, ideally within the fitness industry, with a track record of closing deals.

A Master Communicator: You are confident, outgoing, and energized by talking to people on the phone and in person, with strong communication skills and the ability to influence and guide others.

Goal‑Oriented: You are driven by results and excited by an aggressive commission structure.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.

Previous customer service or sales experience.

Proficient in MS Office, CRM, and other computer programs.

Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills.

Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
