They are looking to hire a talented Regional Sales Manager to take over an existing book of business due to an impending retirement.
Job Description
The Regional Sales Manager will be focused on maintaining and expanding relationships with existing and potential customers, primarily in the pharmaceutical manufacturing space.
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for a multi‑million dollar territory with an average size Capital Equipment deal of $350k+.
The Regional Sales Manager must be comfortable performing business development activities, customer visits, and technical product demonstrations.
Requirements
5-10 years of Capital Equipment sales experience ideally focused on the manufacturing and production space.
Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn complex equipment and processes.
Self‑motivated and results‑oriented; ability to track and maintain information in a CRM, ideally Salesforce.com.
Location Location : This is a remote opportunity where candidates must be based in
Chicago, IL or Raleigh/Charlotte, NC or Atlanta, GA
(covering a Midwest/Southeast territory); travel up to 50% throughout the territory and to events.
Compensation Base Comp : $80,000 - $100,000
Total Comp : $150,000 - $200,000+
