What We're Looking For:

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing client accounts, providing support to the account management team, and ensuring client satisfaction. This role involves a mix of client communication, project management, and strategic planning. To succeed as an account manager, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as building strong relationships with clients is paramount.

Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail will help you manage multiple projects effectively. Additionally, having a good understanding of marketing and advertising concepts will enable you to provide valuable insights to clients and contribute to the success of their campaigns.

As you gain experience and demonstrate your capabilities, you may have the opportunity to advance to a more senior role, where you will take on more significant responsibilities and manage larger client portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, acting as the primary point of contact and ensuring their needs and expectations are met.

Client Communication: Regularly communicate with clients to understand their objectives, provide updates on project progress, and address any concerns or issues.

Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the account management team to develop strategic plans for clients, outlining goals, timelines, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as support, marketing, and operations to ensure successful campaign implementation.

Problem‑Solving: Identify and address any challenges that arise, finding effective solutions in collaboration with the team.

Upselling and Renewals: Identify opportunities to upsell services with existing clients, contributing to Cognition Digital’s revenue growth.

Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree in fields such as Business, Marketing or related area

Familiarity with CRM software systems such as Salesforce is a plus

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational abilities and being able to manage time effectively

A basic understanding of sales processes and an interest in developing sales skills

Prior experience in sales or account management and ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment as client needs evolve
