Front Desk Associate – FirstService Residential
This role is offered as a full-time, non-exempt associate at FirstService Residential. The position offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, holidays, and a 401k with company match. Occasional travel may be required for training and other company functions.
Pay Range $20.00 per hour
Job Overview As a Front Desk Associate, you’ll work independently, handling daily front‑of‑house operations, greeting residents, checking guests and service providers in/out, and managing emergency response and access control procedures.
Responsibilities
Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills.
Monitor Emergency Response System and Electronic Security Control Systems.
Greet and direct residents, guests, and invitees.
Respond to emergency situations promptly and efficiently.
Control access to the building and maintain daily logs, records, and forms.
Resolve and follow up on all complaints and issues.
Maintain a safe and secure environment throughout the building/property(s).
Perform other duties as assigned by the on‑site property manager.
Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalency preferred; college‑level courses in business or hospitality preferred.
Two to three years of business experience preferred.
Computer literacy and familiarity with information system hardware/software preferred.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Multiple language fluency desirable.
Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills required.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift 30–50 lbs.; work in upright standing or sitting positions for long periods.
Handle, finger, grasp, and lift objects and packages.
Reach with hands and arms.
Communicate and exchange ideas by spoken and written word.
Navigate the property/building quickly and efficiently.
Complete all required forms.
Work extended hours and weekends as needed.
Respond to emergencies in a timely manner.
Schedule Full-time; flexible schedule.
