As a
Security Officer – Healthcare Role
in
Clairton, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in healthcare environments. You will monitor and patrol designated areas, deter security-related incidents, and provide a reassuring presence for patients, visitors, and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and deliver customer service in a hospital setting.

What You\'ll Do
Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Support emergency response activities as needed, communicating clearly with site personnel and first responders.
Observe and report unusual incidents, hazards, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols to appropriate personnel.
Maintain a visible presence to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to staff, patients, and visitors.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas as required by site-specific procedures.
Document all security-related activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
Minimum Requirements
Vaccinations are required for work in hospital environments.
Work may take place in hospital morgues.
Applicants must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
