The
Yard Employee
will be responsible for the daily activities in the yard such as receiving and stocking product, driving a forklift and loading trucks for delivery.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Receive and stock commodity merchandise.
Manually gather materials for delivery orders while maintaining accuracy.
Accurately verify product/quantities and load delivery trucks.
Assist customers with materials being picked up or dropped off at the yard.
Safely operate hand power tools and forklifts.
Unload vendor trucks and check in product.
Assist in inventory cycle counts.
Accompany and assist drivers with occasional deliveries.
Complete maintenance on trucks, buildings and grounds.
Maintain cleanliness of yard and warehouse.
Physical Requirements
Frequent standing and may involve walking short distances and climbing stairs.
Occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist.
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Exposed to altered climate conditions when in warehouse or yard.
