Job Description
We are seeking a Traveling Quality Control Manager (QCM) to support a large‑scale data center project worth around $1B in Montgomery, Alabama. RCDD Certification is preferred for this role but not required.

Key Responsibilities
Implement and manage the six‑step quality control/safety process, including site‑specific quality programs
Lead weekly QC meetings and maintain the project Quality Process Log (QPL)
Develop preparatory meeting agendas and participate in meetings prior to each definable feature of work
Interface directly with owner’s quality assurance and management teams on all quality‑related issues
Review inspection reports, punch lists, and close‑in inspection results
Submit and review RFIs to ensure changes are implemented in the field
Coordinate trade partner test and inspection schedules and document daily QC activities
Audit trade partner QC procedures and report chronic issues to upper management
Select and coordinate third‑party testing agencies and verify adherence to standards
Participate in source inspections and oversee QC personnel development
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or equivalent experience
5–7 years of experience on large commercial construction projects
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively
Strong communication and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel templates), Prolog, Primavera, and AutoCAD
RCDD Certification preferred but not required
Work Environment This is a fully Traveling QCM role. The current project is in Montgomery, Alabama.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Montgomery, AL.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $67.00/hr.
