Description/Comment: Planner with supply chain exposure/experience.

100% onsite* must be local to Louisville or Foxboro*. All submittals must include an MS Excel 365 intermediate user assessment result in full scoring 80% or higher for the hiring manager to review.

1 year temporary role, no guarantee of conversion.

This candidate will be a liaison for daily interaction with internal and external customers. Additional responsibilities include consistently maintaining daily service and service sales order reports, processing staged orders, interacting with the warehouses, freight carriers, and any additional necessary contacts to identify and resolve any issues that would impact our customers’ shipments in order to meet their delivery requirements.

Primary Responsibilities

Strong customer focus. Provide our customers with the highest levels of customer service in a demanding and challenging environment on a consistent daily basis.

Manage service and service sales orders to ship day of order being booked when stock is available in local warehouses.

Prioritize logistics needs when necessary; communicate with warehouse operations and logistics team to meet delivery requirements.

Follow existing processes and procedures to ensure daily execution of operating standards and service level agreements.

Ability to effectively communicate with professionalism and positive attitude with various individuals/groups.

Qualifications

Priority setting – function effectively in a fast paced and dynamic environment, ability to focus on what is important, cope with change, and shift gears when necessary.

Decision making / Problem solving – can make decisions in a timely manner based on analysis and good judgment that suits customer’s demand. Utilize logic to solve issues and look beyond the scope to provide the utmost customer satisfaction. Understand how to get things done within our network.

Experience

Must possess thorough understanding of customer service, supply chain, logistics and transportation method service requirements in order to ensure optimal day-to-day management of orders. Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced and global environment.

Detailed and multi‑task oriented, strong interpersonal skills, critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.

Experience with logistics, ERP and warehouse related software.
