Position Summary The Tire and Battery Service Advisor is responsible for maintaining a safe and organized tire and battery center, ensuring the highest quality service to members, and driving sales and service excellence in a dynamic retail environment.
Responsibilities
Maintain facility and sales floor safety and standards through regular safety sweeps and adherence to forklift and hazardous material handling requirements.
Keep the Tire and Battery Center (TBC) sales floor organized, stocked, zoned, and merchandised; manage claims, returns, shrink, and damages.
Stock merchandise, set up, clean, and organize product displays; remove damaged goods and sign and price merchandise appropriately.
Monitor tire and battery orders daily; assist members with appointments for installation and communicate lead time changes or cancellations.
Provide tire maintenance and repair services while offering expert member service and recommendations.
Promote TBC offerings by collaborating with associates across the club and communicating the value of merchandise and services.
Prioritize service workflow in TBC service bays, balancing time requirements and maximizing efficiency.
Demonstrate knowledge of safety, compliance, industry guidelines, service standards, TPMS, product specifications, and POS systems.
Leverage digital tools and handheld devices to enhance operations, plan sales, and make real‑time decisions.
Act as a brand advocate and influence team members through training and mentorship.
Complete vehicle service requests, tests, and equipment operations safely; handle merchandise receipt, storage, and disposal.
Process member purchases, returns, refunds, and exchanges with proper procedures.
Implement company policies and ethical standards, using the Open Door Policy and continuous improvement practices.
Collaborate with managers and partners to set priorities, communicate progress, and address improvement opportunities.
Respect diversity and foster an inclusive workplace culture that values differences in people, cultures, ideas, and experiences.
Build strong relationships, communicate with impact, energize the team, and mentor others.
Maintain integrity, ethics, and compliance to support Walmart’s regenerative goals and customer‑first principles.

Minimum Qualifications
Valid state‑issued driver’s license.
18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
Auto service industry or retail experience.
