Key Responsibilities
Lead, manage, and deliver survey projects across municipal, transportation, public works, and private development sectors.
Perform advanced survey calculations and data analysis to produce maps, plats, ALTA/NSPS surveys, and right-of-way documents.
Research deeds, land titles, records, and historical data to support boundary and property determination.
Oversee and review field notes, daily logs, deliverables, and QC documentation from field crews and survey staff.
Prepare and review legal descriptions, survey reports, and technical exhibits.
Plan, schedule, and estimate project tasks; assist with proposals and client coordination.
Ensure all survey products meet QA/QC requirements before PSM review and final delivery.
Train, mentor, and guide survey analysts, CAD technicians, and junior team members.
Provide client-facing communication, resolve project issues, and deliver exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
10+ years
of professional land surveying experience; strong knowledge of survey principles and practices.
PSM license in Florida , or the ability to obtain within 6 months (preferred but not mandatory).
Experience with
FDOT , Public Works, and Site Development survey deliverables.
Proficiency with industry software such as
Civil 3D , MicroStation, GeoPak, Carlson Survey, Trimble Business Center, or Pix4D.
Minimum
3 years of CAD experience
and strong mapping/drafting capabilities.
Ability to multitask, prioritize shifting workloads, and respond to evolving project needs.
Proficient with field equipment, field operations, and standard survey procedures.
