Location / Schedule Crossnore, NC (Avery Campus); Full‑time. Travel throughout the assigned region required.
Your Impact As a Bridging Futures Supervisor, you play a vital role in helping young adults (ages 17–21) transition successfully into adulthood. You’ll lead a team that provides safe, trauma‑informed care while helping clients develop the skills and confidence they need to thrive.
Hiring Range $51,000 – $60,000 annually. Compensation is based on experience and qualifications; those meeting only the minimum requirements may start at the beginning of the range, while those with additional relevant experience may be considered for higher starting pay.

Education / Experience
Meets requirements for a Qualified Professional:
Master’s degree in a human services or related field from an accredited college/university and a minimum of one year supervised clinical experience working with children and families;
Bachelor’s degree in a human services field and two years’ experience with the current population; or
Bachelor’s degree in a non‑human services field and four years’ experience with the current population.
Minimum of two years’ experience working with teens/young adults, preferably in a mental health or child welfare setting.
2+ years of supervisory experience preferred.
Experience supervising foster care or group‑care living program staff strongly preferred.
Skills and Competencies
Strong leadership and supervision skills, including the ability to mentor, coach, and hold staff accountable.
Solid understanding of child welfare, mental health, and trauma‑informed care; ability to apply this knowledge to support young adults effectively.
Skilled in program development and operational management, including implementing goals, performance metrics, and staff training initiatives.
Maintains compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to build positive relationships with staff, clients, families, and community partners.
Ability to manage crisis situations calmly and effectively, using strong problem‑solving and conflict resolution skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and electronic documentation systems.
Strategic thinking, time management, and organizational skills; balances multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and supervise Bridge Parents and Case Managers to maintain a high‑performing team.
Oversee daily operations of the Bridging Futures program, including program goals and performance metrics.
Ensure client Plans of Care are effectively implemented, supporting life skills development, education, safety, and emotional well‑being.
Participate in treatment team meetings and assist with assessments, case reviews, and documentation.
Maintain compliance with licensing, state, and federal regulations, as well as COA/CARF accreditation standards.
Manage program finances, including client activity funds, payroll, and billing documentation.
Serve on‑call as needed, providing guidance and support in crisis situations.
Build strong relationships with schools, families, DSS, and community partners to support youth success.
Foster an inclusive, therapeutic environment guided by the Sanctuary Model principles.
