The Position The Broadcast Operations Stadium Manager will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of all broadcast operations and non-technical services at an assigned FIFA World Cup 2026 stadium. This position plays a key role in ensuring that all broadcast facilities, services, and activities are delivered to the highest international standards.

Key Responsibilities

Planning and Coordination: Oversee the planning and implementation of all stadium broadcast facilities and services in line with FIFA broadcast and technical requirements.

Collaborate closely with FIFA World Cup 2026 functional areas, stadium management, and the Host Broadcaster to align construction, logistics, services, and stadium operations with broadcast needs.

Act as a primary point of contact for the stadium broadcast team, facilitating smooth communication between all broadcast related stakeholders.

Maintain an overview of all Broadcast operations at the stadium

Operational Management: Monitor the progress of broadcast facility management implementation, proactively managing risks, issues and dependencies, and escalating urgent matters promptly.

Ensure full compliance and operational readiness of all broadcast infrastructure, including commentary positions, camera platforms, compound areas and connectivity.

Oversee seamless broadcast operations during the event period.

Coordinate the implementation of non-technical services for broadcast (e.g. Security, Cleaning & waste, etc.)

Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Support on-site broadcast teams, foster collaboration, build relationships with FIFA departments and local authorities, and represent FIFA’s broadcast interests at venue-level coordination meetings and briefings.

Reporting and Evaluation: Prepare detailed progress reports and readiness updates; provide daily reporting to broadcast HQ during tournament operation; conduct post-event assessments; ensure sustainability, safety and accessibility standards are upheld.

Education & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level of higher education

Work Experience

Minimum 6 years in event management, preferably in a broadcast environment

Strong interpersonal and project management skills; experience managing complex projects

Experience in major sports events or FIFA events is an asset

Proven ability to work under pressure in a multicultural, time-critical environment

Familiarity with the assigned stadium and city is a plus

Languages

Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Spanish and/or French proficiency is a plus

Technology

Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration tools

Salary : In accordance with California's Equal Pay and Opportunity Act, the salary range for this position is $93k - $105k. This estimate is based on this position being performed in The State of California and may not be applicable to other locations. FIFA26 offers a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability insurance, life insurance and a 401k retirement plan. A candidate's position within the salary range will be based on education, experience, qualifications, and other factors.
