Marketing Manager, Paid Search, AWS Search Marketing
Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Marketing Manager to support the in‑house global paid search program. The Marketing Manager will apply paid search best practices to campaign execution, leverage data analysis to identify performance improvement opportunities, simplify processes, and innovate to drive long‑term results. The role works closely with a team of search experts to acquire new customers, promote adoption of new services, generate leads, and create unique, customer‑centric experiences through search. Key responsibilities: Contribute to day‑to‑day management of paid search campaigns through tactical execution and account maintenance. Maintain account health and executional excellence by sustaining existing operational mechanisms and creating new ones. Work with search experts to drive acquisition, adoption, lead generation, and unique customer experiences. Develop campaign‑level testing strategies for ad copy and landing page experiences that improve the customer experience. Answer business questions by diving into data to surface insights and make data‑driven recommendations for performance optimization. Analyze campaign performance metrics, identify trends, and provide data‑driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders. Challenge the status quo and push for the best customer experience. Insist on the highest standards and prioritize long‑term results over short‑term gains. Question assumptions and strive for continuous improvement in campaigns and customer experiences. Qualifications: 4+ years of professional marketing experience. Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements. Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables). Experience building and optimizing multiple, simultaneous marketing campaigns. Experience managing or working within cross‑functional marketing and creative teams. Preferred: Experience in multi‑territory campaign management. Preferred: Experience in digital marketing and content production timelines and process.
