As our Communication Manager, reporting directly to the CMO, your main responsibilities will be to lead the development and execution of the company’s Communication, PR and Social Media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement. You will reinforce the positioning of Cooltra as a reference and European leader in sustainable mobility.

Responsibilities

Develop and oversee the implementation of the company’s internal and external Communication and Social Media strategies, including different business lines and markets.

Develop and lead the PR, press, and media strategy, defining key narratives, managing media relations, overseeing press releases, and managing spokesperson communications for the company, including the CEO and General Managers, ensuring consistent brand messaging across markets and business lines.

Manage and recruit external providers (agencies and consultants) for press, public affairs and CSR.

Plan and develop content for the company’s internal and external communication and Social Media channels.

Build and manage communication materials (internal newsletters, official presentations, conferences, talks, radio broadcasts, etc.). Attend events where the brand is involved (round tables, congresses, breakfasts, panels, fairs) and speak on behalf of the company.

Monitor and report the impact of the different Communication and Social Media activities for continuous improvement.

Develop and manage the team (2 Comms and Social Media professionals) providing coaching, training and mentorship to ensure high performance and career growth opportunities.

Stay up to date on industry trends, competition and legislation, proactively identifying new communication, brand and business growth opportunities.

Work closely with the B2G General Manager on the public affairs strategy, coordinating messaging, aligning communication priorities, and supporting stakeholder, institutional, and regulatory communications at local and group level.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communication, audiovisuals or a related field is preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of combined experience in Communication, PR and Social Media, preferably in a mobility service or similar environment.

Residence in Barcelona or surrounding areas.

Strong leadership and project management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

More than 3 years of team management experience.

Proficiency in English and Spanish. French, Italian and Portuguese are an asset.
