Use discretion and independent judgement to employ instructional design theories and best practices to develop products that meet client deliverable requirements.
Design, develop, and modify course outlines, computer-based training (CBT) storyboards, training videos, podcasts, outreach branding, and other instructional materials.
Design and develop interactive CBTs using Articulate 360 and RISE, both collaboratively and independently.
Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) and identify target audience’s training needs.
Design and develop visually appealing and engaging multimedia elements using design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud Applications including Premiere, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
Maintain project documentation and course folders.
Conduct quality assurance testing and perform work under the quality management system that adheres to the most current procedures/policies, desktop procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Apply 508 compliance standards to CBTs and instructional materials.
Create guidelines for how logos and other branding materials should be displayed and used.
Review and effectively improve training content by incorporating feedback from stakeholders/SMEs and learners.
Manage special projects as specified by leadership.
Work with minimal direction to analyze and interpret findings and make recommendations regarding digital solutions.
Identify cost savings.
Stay abreast of new and emerging instructional design and adult learning theories.
Provide client contact for established programs and/or projects.
Provide input to proposals as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, or related educational field
A minimum of 3 years of experience in the field or related area
Proficient in Articulate 360 (specifically Storyline)
Experience in audio/video production and graphics/animation; Adobe Creative Cloud Applications
Ability to interpret content and information from an instructional perspective
Ability to work independently on a team
Knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models (i.e., ADDIE)
Basic HTML programming knowledge
Experience developing 508-compliant web-based courses
Highly motivated and customer-centric
Strong oral and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and high attention to accuracy and detail
Experience with rapid development
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of Jira and Confluence highly desired
