Research (90%)
The candidate is required to develop an independent research program investigating childhood environmental epidemiology, with emphasis on mixtures analysis, modifiable factors, and molecular mechanisms. Tasks include conceptualizing new projects, designing methods, supervising students or technicians, conducting statistical analyses, interpreting results, and publishing findings. Collaboration on larger projects and dissemination to community stakeholders is expected. Professional Competence and Activity (5%)
Participation in professional xét directions and conferences, serving as reviewer for research proposals and publications, contributing to national studies evaluating chemical exposures, and attending seminars for scientific meetings. University and Public Service (5%)
Encouraged to engage in university service activities such as guest lecturing, committee service, public outreach, and community presentations. Teaching classroom courses are not required. Qualifications
Basic qualifications
A Ph.D. in epidemiology, environmental science, or a related field. 3-5 years of postdoctoral or equivalent experience. Record of productivity with publications in peer‑reviewed journals. Additional qualifications
Experience working on the ECHO data platform. Demonstrated legal authorization to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship will be offered. Preferred qualifications
Demonstrated ability to secure independent research funding as PI or co‑PI. Proven skill in developing competitive grant proposals and managing awarded funds. Application Requirements
