The Role JLL's Senior Associate, Marketing position provides strategic marketing services to our geographic-based businesses. This position works as a team, in conjunction with regional and national leadership, to plan and execute marketing strategies for the New York Tri-State region, positioning JLL competitively in the commercial real estate industry.
The role requires the ability to contribute on strategy development, planning, and execution of high-performing marketing programs in close coordination with local business leaders, national business line marketers, and partners across Research, Sales Enablement, Technology, Brand, Campaign, Digital, and Creative teams. The Senior Associate translates approved strategy into high quality execution across earned, owned, and paid media.
The Senior Associate will execute marketing plans that support revenue goals across multiple aspects of the commercial brokerage business, with a strong focus on B2B storytelling, brand consistency, and client-centric content.
The role supports local internal employee engagement in partnership with local and national leadership, balancing internal and external communications while maintaining brand standards and cultural alignment.
The Senior Associate must be professional, highly organized, detail oriented, and a self-starter with the ability to operate independently within a defined strategic direction. The role requires strong creative judgment, an eye for design, the ability to work effectively with stakeholders, and excellent project management, communication, and technology skills in a fast-paced, high impact sales environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Partner with JLL's business line leaders and stakeholders to execute marketing solutions across business priorities, ensuring alignment with regional and national strategy
Work with business segments' teams and industries to plan and execute high performing marketing programs that differentiate the business locally and support growth across each local business line
Execute earned, owned, and paid media initiatives that align to market priorities, brand standards, and B2B marketing objectives
Translate research reports, data, and insights into clear, engaging, and digestible content for social media, email, presentations, and other marketing channels
Create, edit, and produce creative assets across formats including social media content, email campaigns, case studies, client stories, brochures, white papers, videos, SMS, and other digital content
Support regional client engagement events and activities through marketing execution, content development, and on-site or pre-event support as needed, in partnership with local leadership and the national events team
In conjunction with JLL's national communications teams, support proactive public relations and social media efforts through content development, coordination, and distribution of press releases and stories across owned channels
Provide design direction, collaborate, and execution with internal teams in the planning and execution of sales support and prospecting materials in both print and digital formats, including brochures, flyers, mailers, emails, ads, promotional items, SMS, and landing pages
Support internal marketing and communications efforts, while also serving external client and prospect audiences
Collaborate with brand, campaign, digital, creative, and other centers of excellence to execute work efficiently and in alignment with established standards
Innovate and improve marketing programs by researching and applying AI, new ideas, trends, and best practices related to B2B marketing, brand storytelling, and content creation
Independently manage multiple concurrent initiatives, timelines, and deliverables with strong attention to detail and quality control
Identify risks, gaps, or resource constraints and elevate appropriately to regional marketing leadership
Collaborate with other local marketing teams and national partners to share best practices and advance shared ways of working
Utilize Workfront, a workflow management system, to track, manage, and prioritize assignments for all JLL managed marketing efforts
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or other relevant field
Minimum 5 years of related marketing experience, with emphasis on B2B or professional services environments. Commercial real estate experience is a strong plus
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage complex workflows and multiple priorities
Strong creative capabilities with a proven eye for design and brand consistency
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva, with the ability to work independently in these tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including copywriting for email, social media, and marketing collateral
Experience creating and editing content across channels including social media, email, digital, video, SMS, and print
Comfort supporting earned, owned, and paid media execution without requiring close supervision
Experience supporting sales teams in deadline driven, high output environments
Strong understanding of internal and external client service expectations
Track record of executing sophisticated B2B marketing programs within defined strategic direction
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment with demanding workloads
Ability to identify issues quickly and take action or elevate as appropriate
Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel required
Strong digital and AI skills with the ability to learn and adapt to new marketing technologies and platforms quickly
