What You’ll Do

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate within a healthcare environment.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the healthcare facility’s operations.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.

Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal standards and client site requirements.

Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and patients to provide assistance and information as needed.

Monitor access points and help deter unauthorized entry, ensuring compliance with facility protocols.

Support healthcare staff and visitors by providing directions and responding to requests for assistance in a courteous manner.

Minimum Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

CPR certification is preferred.

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

First Aid certification is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
