About the Role
We’re partnering with a growing construction and industrial contractor to hire a
Safety Manager
who will play a key role in building and maintaining a strong safety culture across job sites and plant operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, hands-on safety professional who wants ownership, visibility with leadership, and room to grow. You’ll be responsible for ensuring OSHA compliance, conducting site and plant inspections, developing safety programs, and delivering training to field and shop personnel. The role involves moderate travel (approximately 20%) and close collaboration with operations and project teams. What We’re Looking For
OSHA 30 certification required; OSHA 500 is a strong plus or in progress 1–5 years’ experience in construction or industrial safety Experience conducting safety inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations Comfortable developing and enforcing safety policies and emergency response plans Strong communication skills with the ability to influence field crews and leadership Experience in steel erection or industrial construction is a plus but not required Trainable, adaptable mindset suited to a small-to-medium company environment Competitive base salary with performance-based bonus Company vehicle and all travel expenses covered Profit-sharing opportunities Healthcare benefits and 401(k) plan Supportive leadership and long-term growth potential High-impact role with clear ownership of safety programs Submit resume to acoombes@novaxrecruitment.com or apply online.
