Security Officer - Flex Mall Bike

Birmingham, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients across a range of industries such as retail/malls. This Flex Part‑Time role allows you to build a schedule that works for you while exploring new opportunities through our Claim a Shift platform. You will patrol assigned areas, deter incidents, and create a welcoming environment with exceptional customer service.
Position Type Flex
Pay Rate $14.85 per hour
Job Schedule Saturday 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM

What You'll Do
Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures and site‑specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with problem‑solving skills.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior and perimeter.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or security incidents to appropriate personnel.
Assist visitors, tenants, and employees with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a visible presence.
Follow post orders and instructions from Allied Universal and site management.
Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and patrols.
Minimum Requirements
Able to ride a bike.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Will be subject to a background investigation and drug screening as required by law.
Will be considered with criminal histories in accordance with applicable laws.
Licensing requirements, if applicable, will be met prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.
