Memorial Intensivist Group at the Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a motivated and dynamic Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, dedicated to night shifts, to join its team. The selected candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of intensivists to provide highly specialized care for patients requiring close observation and around-the-clock monitoring for a range of complex conditions.
Responsibilities will include inpatient consults and follow up, medical ICU/neuro ICU coverage, and bedside procedures. The ideal candidate must have clinical experience working in a critical care setting. Candidates must have a national Adult Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification, or Physician Assistant Certification. A BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross and Florida license must be obtained by date of hire.
Schedule requirements are three, 12‑hour evening and night shifts per week with weekend coverage as needed. No call coverage is required. This is a full‑time employed position that offers competitive benefits and a compensation package that is commensurate with training and experience. Professional malpractice and medical liability are covered under sovereign immunity.
