What You’ll Do This Entertainment Marketing Manager role will support all brand marketing and brand voice efforts in the social vertical, focused on content planning, creation/development, and optimization. You’ll leverage innovative planning and strategy, collaborate across functions—including Brand, Business Development, and Creative—to build and execute launch and marketing programs. You’ll foster relationships in the social space, educate internal and external teams on emerging trends, monitor the competitive landscape, and integrate all initiatives seamlessly into overarching brand marketing plans. The role includes day‑to‑day execution of social media content development.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and update internal asset trackers for all upcoming social shoots, detailing timing, key product, promotional windows, and more.
Liaise with creative counterparts on final reviews and approvals.
Coordinate with wider entertainment marketing teams to ingest briefs for social content shoots and editing.
Manage the routing process for creative and brand team sign‑off of social content.
Schedule and calendaring of day‑to‑day social initiatives.
Work with Community Management lead to monitor performance across platforms.
Develop platform strategies for each key project.
Create content calendars to tease and support announcements.
Adapt overarching brand marketing plans into trend‑ready rollouts.
Develop KPIs and compile and interpret analytics reporting across owned channels.
Collaborate on content briefs with creators, media personalities, and other relevant parties.
Develop content strategies and launch/sustain plans around new handles (e.g., Authentic Live, SI Experiences, The Shaq Shop).
Handle daily administrative tasks: updating schedules, spreadsheets, tracking partner obligations, and maintaining best practices.
Integrate AI tools (Authentic AI, Midjourney, Firefly) into content development plans to prototype concepts.
Use generative AI to improve efficiency, scalability, and visual experimentation.
Stay informed on emerging tech and digital trends to elevate social media creative.
Must Haves
Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business, or a similar field.
Proficient knowledge of and passion for social media.
4+ years of experience as a Social Media Manager.
Video and content shooting/editing skills (including mobile shooting/editing).
Strong computer proficiency, especially in Adobe Suite (After Effects, Sprout) and native social media features.
Seamless communication skills with strong in‑room presentation capabilities.
Exceptional at building relationships.
Understanding of social media KPIs.
Critical thinker and problem‑solver.
Willingness to travel for events and activations (up to 15% of the time).
Salary Range $85,000 – $95,000
