Position Summary
Based in Rochester / Buffalo, NY, the Sales Representative – Anesthesia manages relationships with anesthesiologists, CRNAs and anesthesia teams in operating rooms, surgical centers and hospital administration. The role drives results from initial outreach through order fulfillment of Teleflex’s anesthesia portfolio including LMA®, Rusch®, Arrow® and Hudson RCI®. Responsibilities
Prospect and execute new business opportunities to exceed revenue targets. Develop and maintain a detailed, strategic territory business plan. Grow market share and utilization among existing accounts while securing new users. Lead conversations and build customer advocacy relationships based on trust. Build champions and navigate the VAC process to effect clinical preference practices. Demonstrate superior product, clinical and market understanding. Maintain all credentials required to work in hospital facilities. Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree preferred; 8+ years of medical device sales experience expected. Prior sales experience to hospitals, surgical centers and clinics. Results orientation, customer advocacy, product knowledge, planning and organization. Strong analytical skills and business acumen. Strong communication skills, verbal and written. Ability to travel 60-70%. Specialized Skills / Other Requirements
Must demonstrate success in prior sales positions. Carry and lift up to 30 lbs and stand or walk in hospitals for 6-10 hrs/d. Meet safety and credentialing requirements. Compensation
The base pay range is $80,000-$160,000 inclusive of commissions. Total compensation includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k) and paid time off. EEO Statement
