As a Sales Advisor at H&M, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, welcoming and guiding customers through your store, actively selling our products, and providing customers with the support and guidance they need to have the best experience. You will use your fashion and product knowledge to ensure customers receive all relevant information, and you will contribute to garment refill and care, presentation, and a clean and tidy sales floor and back‑of‑house. You will work closely with your store team to deliver an excellent customer experience.

A Day in the Life

Provide excellent customer service: welcoming and guiding customers through the store and OMNI experience where available, supporting them with direct customer service.

Engage and have conversations with customers to provide excellent service.

Guide customers through our fashion trends, stories, and products in all areas of the store.

Effectively promote and sell our products to customers.

Actively promote our Customer Loyalty App (Hello Member) and in‑store sustainability initiatives.

Represent yourself and the H&M brand positively during all customer interactions.

Support commercial or operational actions to reach sales targets with the store management team.

Maintain excellent stock levels with replenishment routines on the sales floor.

Support opening and closing of the store.

Follow all health and safety guidelines and legal requirements applicable to the role.

Work on garment refill and care, completion of the full garment cycle from unpacking and refill to steaming, and maintaining good garment care.

Operationally run fitting rooms and checkout areas according to best practice and processes.

Contribute to a clean and tidy sales floor and back‑of‑house, including stockrooms.

Support garment presentation and execution, maintaining attractive merchandise displays, clear trends, and stories according to visual and commercial guidelines.

Ensure good stock levels and consistently follow best practice for in‑store OMNI services and in‑store tech services/tools (e.g., Instore Care App, Click & Collect, Smart Store).

Retain and share fashion and store operations knowledge and skills with colleagues.

Follow all procedures, routines, and legal requirements in all areas of the store.

Give and receive feedback with colleagues to learn, develop, and support each other.

Participate in relevant onboarding, introduction processes, training, and courses for your role and future development.

General Information

Keep up‑to‑date with fashion scene, trends, tendencies, styles, brands, products, competitors, and relevant influencers.

Use your product and fashion knowledge to share relevant information with customers.

Follow all procedures, routines, and legal requirements in all areas of the store.

Give and receive feedback with your colleagues to learn, develop, and support each other.

Participate in onboarding, training, and courses relevant to your role and future development.

Qualifications

Passionate about fashion and everything H&M creates in‑store.

Have sales experience working in a dynamic and collaborative environment that you can apply to your role.

Experience working with customer service in fashion, retail, or other service‑related industries.

Compensation: Sales Associates Pay Rate $12.00 per hour.
