Job Summary This position utilizes our Core Values to sell all Bruckner Truck sales products, using technical, organizational and customer knowledge skills to influence customers and assist them in applying our products/services to their needs, resulting in revenue generation for the company and excellent service for our customers.

Essential Position Functions & Principal Accountabilities

Sell heavy‑duty trucks/trailers and related components.

Call on prospective customers and assigned accounts within assigned territory.

Maintain contacts with customers, keep current on market and customer trends, and document all activity in the company’s CRM system.

Identify and profile prospective customers, develop and apply strategies to obtain orders and close potential orders.

Report on competitive activity.

Stay informed on new products and other general information of interest to customers to assist sales efforts.

Coordinate efforts with outside parts, service, and new and used heavy‑duty truck sales personnel to achieve full market penetration.

Key Responsibilities

Sell heavy‑duty trucks/trailers and related components spec’s.

Call on prospective customers and assigned accounts.

Maintain contacts and document activity.

Develop and apply strategies.

Report on competitive activity.

Coordinate efforts with staff.

Skills

Hard Skills:

Valid CDL or ability to obtain one within 60 days; at least 2 years experience in truck sales or applicable experience; computer and telephone skills.

Soft Skills:

Verbal communication; aggressive, self‑motivated; closing ability; organized; strong time management.

Preferred Skills:

Medium & heavy truck sales experience; heavy‑duty truck industry experience; familiarity with the commercial community; strong customer service and sales skills; commercial driver’s license.

Position Requirements

Minimum high school diploma with appropriate experience.

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Minimum 2 years retail sales experience.

Preferably some heavy‑duty or medium‑duty truck experience.
