Water Treatment Sales Consultant – Seattle, WA Chem‑Aqua, Inc.

is the wholly owned water treatment subsidiary of NCH Corporation. We are seeking a top‑tier Water Treatment Sales Consultant to support our growth strategy. This is a remote position with 35% travel required.

The

Water Treatment Sales Consultant

will identify, develop, and service existing and new accounts in the greater Seattle market. They will work closely with customers to provide tailored water treatment programs.

Responsibilities

Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.

Develop and perform all sales activities in the assigned territory (lead generation, cold calling, and appointment setting).

Promote and sell maintenance services to new and existing Chem‑Aqua customers.

Hands‑on servicing of accounts, including chemical testing, calibration and repair of chemical feed related equipment, and visual inspections of systems when necessary.

Schedule service and sales calls – includes daily, weekly and monthly reporting.

Identify new business needs and opportunities, and develop and implement customized solutions for our customers.

Requirements

High School Diploma; College Degree preferred.

Minimum of 3–5 years of sales experience with a proven successful track record.

Experience in water treatment, water hygiene, environmental health and safety, and/or secondary disinfection is preferred.

Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and experience working on teams from multiple locations.

Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Highly motivated and self‑starter.

Ability to perform physical work in HVAC, cooling tower, or boiler equipment environments, including exposure to chemicals, noise, hot & cold temperatures, and inclement weather.

Regular walking to and from worksites; ability to climb and descend stairs and ladders (10–30 ft) while carrying drums of chemicals up to 50 pounds; protective gear required.

Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record.

Availability for a flexible schedule with some weekend work.

35% travel required.
