Overview and Responsibilities Position:
Account Executive
We are seeking driven and experienced Account Executives with a background in wound care or negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT). In this role, you will build strong relationships with physicians, wound clinics, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and home health agencies to deliver life‑changing solutions that support healing and recovery in the home setting.
Salary:
Entry Level candidates: $55,000 base + uncapped commission; Experienced candidates: $65,000 base + uncapped commission, depending on experience and location.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless patient onboarding and satisfaction.
Conduct face‑to‑face sales calls with healthcare providers and referral sources.
Educate clients on product benefits, patient outcomes, and service capabilities.
Meet and exceed monthly sales quotas through strategic territory management.
Promote Rotech's wound care and NPWT solutions, along with respiratory equipment and services.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Employment contingent upon background check, drug screen, and compliance with healthcare facility credentialing (when applicable).
Valid driver’s license in the state of residence with a clean driving record.
Education and Experience
Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Preferred: Four‑year college degree or equivalent education and experience.
Preferred: Experience in respiratory or medical sales.
Preferred: Leadership experience in other areas or fields.
Preferred: Proven sales performer; 2+ years in B2B or healthcare sales (new college graduates welcome).
Independent and resourceful; thrives on autonomy and accountability.
Excellent communicator; simplifies complex topics and builds trust.
Willingness to travel: in‑person visits throughout the assigned rural territory.
CRM experience and familiarity with sales platforms is a plus.
Skills and Competencies
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external healthcare partners across a defined territory.
Communicate clearly and professionally in English (both written and verbal) with physicians, patients, and colleagues.
Demonstrate a helpful, knowledgeable, and positive attitude.
Interpret and respond to a variety of communication formats and instructions.
Apply knowledge of durable medical equipment (DME) or home medical equipment (HME).
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Utilize medical terminology effectively.
Manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail.
Stay organized, self‑motivated, and solution‑oriented.
Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Machines, Equipment, and Technical Abilities
Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); internet navigation and research.
Electronic fax, copier, printer, and other office equipment.
Comfortable using email transmission and communication tools.
Physical Demands
Regular driving and travel via personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided).
Occasional air travel may be required.
Ability to lift and carry office equipment at times.
Standing, walking, sitting, talking, listening, close vision for small print on computer or tablet.
