Job Overview
The Maintenance Coordinator is an entry‑level contributor that helps solve problems of limited complexity and scope. The role assists in the coordination and execution of maintenance activities to ensure the smooth operation of equipment, machinery, and facilities.
Responsibilities
Support the Maintenance department by scheduling tasks, managing resources, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
Receive, prioritize, and assign maintenance work orders based on urgency, equipment availability, and the skill levels of maintenance technicians.
Assist in creating maintenance schedules to ensure that preventive maintenance tasks, repairs, and inspections are conducted in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
Coordinate with maintenance technicians, contractors, and vendors to allocate necessary resources such as labor, tools, and parts for maintenance tasks.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, equipment history, and repairs.
Update maintenance logs and databases.
Actively participate in group activities and collaborate with the team.
Assist in conducting routine equipment inspections to identify potential issues and recommend maintenance actions.
Provide basic analysis and apply knowledge from experience or standard procedures to solve problems.
Perform other duties as needed.
Required Experience and Education
Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
0‑2 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Competencies
Applies conceptual knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures within a discipline.
Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite products.

Occasional exposure to hazardous conditions caused by noise, moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, and other conditions associated with a high‑traffic production floor.
Must be able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time.
Bending, crouching, and stooping may be required.
Must be able to work in non‑climate‑controlled facilities.
The work environment may be a noisy, high‑traffic manufacturing production floor.
May be required to work a flexible schedule to include evening and night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day.
The ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
