Job Summary The Claims Adjuster Trainee will complete a series of self‑study courses, classroom training and on‑the‑job training to prepare for promotion to Adjuster Level 1. The trainee will also complete the required coursework to qualify for and pass the Georgia Resident Adjuster Property and Casualty examination. Responsibilities include investigating, reserving, negotiating and settling assigned property and casualty claims within provided authority, ensuring timely and fair resolution in accordance with policy contracts. The role works with minimal authority under direct supervision.
Job Responsibilities
Complete required training courses with a successful score.
Obtain State of Georgia Resident Adjuster Property and Casualty license and maintain it through required continuing education.
Provide quality service to all parties involved in assigned claims.
Conduct thorough investigations into coverage, liability and damages for assigned claims in accordance with claims best practices.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor’s degree.
Ability to pass the Georgia Resident Adjuster Property and Casualty licensing exam.
Preferred:
Bilingual (Spanish).
