Could this Be For You If you enjoy hands‑on work and helping people make their homes safer and more convenient, this role is for you. As a Garage Door Service and Sales Technician, you will visit homes across South Central Texas to install and repair garage doors while sharing your expertise with customers. You will recommend solutions and upgrades that match their needs, answer questions, and ensure every customer feels confident in their choices. You will take pride in every job you complete, building trust in the community and growing your own skills along the way.
You Will Be Trusted To
Travel across South Central Texas to install, service, and repair garage door systems
Load, unload, and handle materials for each job
Meet with clients, provide estimates, and deliver solutions
Install sectional doors and high‑lift operators
Troubleshoot and repair service issues independently
Coordinate with dispatch, project managers, and clients
Assist with residential installs as needed
Contribute ideas to grow the commercial division
You Qualify With
1–2 years of experience in installation, construction, or home services
High school diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Basic reading, writing, and math skills
Good communication skills
Willingness to learn and improve
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. and carry it 50 feet
Additional Success
2+ years of garage door installation experience
Experience leading commercial crews or managing projects
Knowledge of door specifications, take‑offs, and quoting commercial jobs
OSHA 10/30 or equivalent safety certification
Comfort with technology and ServiceTitan experience (or willingness to learn)
Familiarity with garage door products and services
