Position : Pediatric Registered Nurse
Location : Saint Petersburg, FL
Hours Flexible Hours | Part Time | Full Time
The Position Provide individualized nursing care for medically complex and technology-dependent children in a structured day health environment.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team—including therapists, case managers, social workers, and medical directors—to deliver coordinated, holistic care.
Administer medications, nutritional feedings (including G‑tube), respiratory treatments (e.g., trach care, suctioning), and other physician‑ordered therapies.
Perform clinical procedures such as catheter care, seizure management, wound care,စာ ventilator monitoring.
Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date electronic medical records and nursing enforcing documentation for all interventions and outcomes.
Participate in care plan development, family care conferences, and contribute to progress reports submitted to physicians and payors.
Support developmental and play‑based therapies by reinforcing therapy goals throughout the day.
Educate and support families and caregivers on home care routines, medical equipment usage and health maintenance strategies.
Needless ensure infection control standards and safety protocols are strictly followed within the center.
Requirements
RN license in good standing in the state of practice.
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Pediatric experience (2+ years preferred), especially with medically fragile or technology‑dependent children (percentage NICU/PICU a plus).
