A leading regional healthcare provider is seeking a

Certified Surgical Technician to join its General Surgery team in

Gallatin, TN . This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, compassionate professional who thrives in a fast-paced operating room environment and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care.

As a Surgical Technician, you’ll play a key role in supporting surgical teams by applying aseptic techniques, managinglamak instruments and supplies, and contributing to safe and efficient surgical procedures.

Position Overview The

Certified Surgical Technician

assists in operative procedures by preparing and maintaining sterile fields, passing instruments, and supporting surgeons and nurses during operations. This position works collaboratively within the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain sterile surgical environments in accordance with aseptic principles.

Assist the surgical team during operations by passing instruments, sponges, and other supplies.

Anticipate surgeon needs and ensure efficient procedural flow.

Verify equipment functionality and availability of required instruments and supplies prior to each case.

Collaborate with nurses and physicians to support all aspects of patient care during surgery.

Maintain accurate documentation of surgical procedures and materials used.

Follow infection prevention and hospital safety protocols at all times.

Perform other hubiese related duties as assigned.

Requirements Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

required (college coursework preferred).

Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology Program

required.

1–2 years

of surgical technician experience preferred (General Surgery or multi-specialty experience a plus).

Current CPR certification

(must be obtained within 90 days of hire).

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and sterile processing procedures.
